2. The Test Ride Protocol
Never let a buyer ride off without holding something of equal value as a deposit, such as their phone or car keys. Keep the test ride to a specific, visible loop.
3. The Documentation Swap
The Buyer should verify the Seller's physical ID matches their eBike Exchange profile. Double-check the frame serial number against the BikeRegister database.
4. Completing the Sale
Payments made outside the platform are not protected. Once the Buyer is happy, they must scan the Seller's QR Handover Code via the app, which begins the 48-hour protection window.
