At eBike Exchange, safety is our foundational commitment. Before any listing goes live on our marketplace, we perform a mandatory, remote desk-based safety and history check as a standard service on every transaction.

Our compliance team cross-references the provided frame serial numbers, verifies the original purchase receipts or Statutory Declarations of Ownership, and checks seller IDs. We also review photos of the bike and owner to confirm possession, as well as the battery and charger labels to check safety and compatibility, ensuring the eBike meets UK EAPC regulations (maximum 250W motor and 15.5mph assistance cutoff). This standard desk-check ensures platform integrity and baseline safety so you can buy and sell with absolute confidence.
